Courses by industry and institutions professionals complement the core curriculum, offering a highly professional approach to economics and statistics. Aix-Marseille School of Economics (AMSE) maintains close links with numerous companies and institutions, both national and international. Contributors to the programme include: The Banque de France, insurance companies Macif-Mutualité and the AXA group, Crédit Agricole and Société Générale, CEREQ (Research centre on Education and Job Qualifications), CTBA (timber technical centre), INSEE (National Institute of Statistics and Economic Studies), Médiamétrie, OFCE (French Economic Observatory), Santé Sud (Health NGO), etc.

Advisory input to decision-makers

AMSE academic staff provides advisory input to government and public decision-makers (two of our faculty are members of the French Prime Minister’s Council of Economic Analysis).

High scientific profile

Our academic staff have a very high scientific profile:

  • 1 recipient of an ERC research grant from the European Research Council (ERC),
